Friends of the San Pedro River

The friends of the San Pedro River (FSPR), founded in 1987 is a volunteer, non-profit, non-political organization, The purpose of the Society is to support the BLM in conserving and interpreting the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area through volunteer support programs and projects including the San Pedro House (See Birding Sites). The FSPR operates a gift and bookstore, leads guided interpretive walks/hikes, and trail rides along the river and throughout the adjacent area, presents educational programs to schools and community groups, and assists the BLM in a variety of other programs. Ramsey Canyon Nature Conservancy

Internationally famous among birders and other naturalists for over a century, this 380-acre property in the middle elevations of the canyon provides excellent birding opportunities year-round. There is not a month in the year that migratory birds are not flying this canyon.
Ramsey Canyon is the home of the Nature Conservancy’s Preserve and the Arizona Folklore Preserve.

Southeastern Arizona Birding Observatory SABO

The Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory (SABO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the birds of southeastern Arizona, their habitats and the diversity of species that share those habitats through research, monitoring and public education.  Working cooperatively with government agencies, other non-profit organizations, businesses, and private landowners, SABO takes an active but non-confrontational role in local and regional conservation. Its programs include guided bird walks, tours and educational workshops.

Arizona Sunshine Tours

Suggested group size is limited to 14 persons per trip for birding. Multiple trips may be scheduled to accommodate group size. Package pricing is available for individuals, and family tours.
